Salut,
Ca va ?
Today, think about your French friend Louise. Imagine it’s your French friend’s birthday. You’ve bought her a present and are planning to go out for a drink after work.
How do you wish a happy birthday in French? How do you pronounce it?
This is what we’ll see in today’s episode of Comme une Française TV: How to wish « happy birthday » in French.

Quel est votre anniversaire ?
Well-explained!
Salut
Very clear and engaging…
Just a couple of things: you say ‘pronounce Bon anniversaire as you would Bon anniversaire’.
I think you meant to say’pronounce Bon anniversaire as you would Bon appétit’.
Your pronunciation of the English word vowel (which sounds like ‘bowel’) is more like vial…
Hi Geraldine,
Your videos are so helpful. I don’t live in France yet but I do have many french friends. Do the French give birthday cards? I’m never sure if it’s polite or not to send a card.
Best wishes
